|EXECUTIVE TEAM BUILDING
Build Strength with Competition and Teamwork!
Our most popular program is one-design keelboat fleet racing. Learn everything the big boys do on a scaled down version. Up to ten teams can compete against nature and each other in a series of "round the buoys" races.
Each team will consist of four members and will be assigned one coach. Everyone will learn to build skills quickly and have a chance to lead their team through course strategies. This is not a learn-to-sail program but some basic skills are inherintely learned through this goal-oriented experience. Most important, participants learn clever psychology to raise their level of performance and how to shape their team and their goals to meet the challenges of the playing field. Great fun for men and women-newcomers and experienced sailors alike.
A brief syllabus for this half-day activity includes orientation, team selection, strategy developement, safety procedures of course, and a de-briefing. We will gladly customize the activity to suit any schedule or particular agenda.

What should we wear?
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the day's weather. Depending on the day's winds, there is a likelihood of getting wet so try to wear clothing that is still comfortable under these conditions. You may also want to bring a hat and sunscreen (SPF 15 or higher) as sunny days out on the water can be intense. Lastly, make sure your shoes have non-slip soles to grip to a wet boat deck. We prefer deck shoes, which usually have "razor cut" soles that allow for good grip of the deck.
